ARBOR DAY SERVICE PROJECT

All Pack 811 scouts are invited to join us for our Arbor Day service project on Thursday, April 23th at Arovista Park.  We will be assisting the City of Brea with the planting of trees at the park.  Scouts should meet in the upper parking lot of the Arovista Park (the Boys and Girls Club side, off Elm Street) at 3:30 in the afternoon in their Class B Tshirts.   This is a great opportunity to help put more trees in our city, and complete a conservation service project for an achievement.  Please contact John Koos with any questions.

Help Plant a Tree this Thursday

All Cub Scouts are invited to help the city of Brea plant trees in celebration of Arbor Day this Thursday, April 26 at 3:30 p.m. in the afternoon.  Scouts will meet at Founder’s Park, which is located near the NW corner of Berry Street and Central Avenue in Brea (you may also google  777 Skyler Way, Brea, 92821).  Please wear your yellow Class-B shirt along with pants and shoes that can get dirty.

Every tree improves our air quality – read more about Arbor Day here: http://www.arborday.org/arborday/.  This service project also fulfills a requirement for the World Conservation Award.  Hope to see everyone there.

Let’s Plant a Tree

Hi Scouts,

Our Arbor Day Service Project for the City of Brea is coming up.  It will be on Thursday,  April 28 from 3-4:30 pm at Arovista Park Grove in Brea.  We will be meeting at the baseball diamond closest to the golf course.  Here is the link to the  park.

The holes will already be dug.  Our job is to place the trees into the holes, bury and water them.  You do not need to bring any tools.  The city will provide them.  Wear comfortable clothes and your Class B uniforms.

We need everyone to sign up to insure we have enough coverage.

>Please sign up here<

We will need at least 1 parent for every 4 scouts so please sign up if you can.

For any scout trying to earn his World Conservation Award or Leave No Trace Award, this is will help you fulfill one of the requirements.

Yours in Scouting,

Christian Lising
