Pinewood Derby
The Pinewood Derby is THE most exciting event of the year. Cubs, with the help of their parents, craft a small block of pine into a dream car for a First Place victory.
Blue and Gold Banquet / Bridging Ceremony
The Blue and Gold Banquet, the birthday dinner for the Cub Scout Program, is held during February. The pack’s big celebration gets its name from the Cub Scout colors. The banquet is traditionally a luncheon for the entire family culminating in the prestigious Bridging Ceremony for our Webelos moving into Boy Scouts.
Family Camp
Scouts and their families are invited to spend a weekend camping at some amazing family friendly places. The Pack organizes activities for the cub scouts and their siblings. There is a small fee for participating in this family event. Families supply their own tent and camping gear, while the Pack supplies the chefs and some amazing meals.
Bike Rodeo
Typically, one of the three Summertime Events for Pack 811. The Bike Rodeo is fun event on two wheels for our boys and their siblings. Learn to slalom, rid e in a figure 8, throw a newspaper the old fashion way on a bike or join in on the slow race. A hit for the whole family.
Summer Day Camp Program
Scouts and their siblings can join in on some summertime fun at Day Camp. A full five days at a nearby park where the boys can earn many of their achievements and electives at one event! This camp is ALWAYS a hit with the boys.
Raingutter Regatta
Like the Pinewood Derby, this event is an exciting summertime event. Cubs, with the help of their parents, craft a small boat from balsa wood into a decorated craft worthy of sailing.
