Our annual family get together will be at Cabrillo Beach Youth Center, August 3-5. This camp features swimming, kayaking, canoeing, row boating, and fishing. The Cabrillo Marine Aquarium and the Tide pools are walking distance from the campsite. Did I mention there the Grunion Runs are also occurring at that time? If you don’t like the water, you can also go to the arts and crafts shop to make leather items and paint wooden models.
Our scouts will be able to earn there swimming belt loop and Aquanaut activity badge. There is something for everybody. The price is $55/person if you pay by advancement campfire on June 13. After that it will be $70/person (if there is still room).
