Den 2 was delayed on the trail for a few minutes while a long common snake crossed our path. The scouts were very much interested in the snake but knew to keep a safe distance and the snake would move along. What a great sight. Following the hike the scouts had another encounter with a snake. The Ranger allowed the boys to watch her feed a corn snake a mouse. Not one eye left the snake as it approached and swallowed the mouse. A very fun day and very interesting day. Den 2 is moving ahead. Check out some more pictures from our hike in our ALBUMS.
